Stewardship Grant FAQs
How much money is available per completed grant?
$1,000 will be awarded to each participating church that successfully completes the program.
How many grants are available?
In the program’s first year, up to 40 churches will be funded.
Does our church have to have an account with the Foundation to participate?
No, the grant program is open to all churches in the Tennessee-Western Kentucky Conference.
Do we need any recommendations outside the local church?
No, you may apply directly to the Foundation.
Is the grant renewable?
Yes. The grant may be renewed twice for a total of 3 years. Additional activities must be added in subsequent years for the grant’s renewal.
Is the entire grant funded upon approval?
No, half of the grant money is given once the church is approved and the other half once all activities have been completed.
