Effective July 1, 2025 the interest rate for principal and interest loans with the United Methodist Development Fund of Tennessee/Kentucky, Inc. stands at 5.99%. When compared with present market loan interest averages, as well as the current prime rate of 7.5%, 5.99% makes sense! We specialize in loans under one million dollars but will consider larger loans depending on collateral and other factors.
Does your church or missional agency have some deferred maintenance needs or capital improvement projects like a new roof, upgrades to audio/visual equipment, or replacing an aging HVAC system? Combine them into one project, paid for through one loan, with one affordable monthly payment, and get them all done at once!
Does your church or missional agency have an existing, higher interest rate loan with another financial institution? Refinance with us at a lower rate, with a lower monthly payment, and save thousands on interest.
Reach out to the United Methodist Development Fund of Tennessee/Kentucky, Inc. and let’s ponder how we can be a strategic, cost saving partner with you. Our services are open to any congregation or missional entity on the Wesleyan family tree, not just United Methodist Churches and agencies.
Also, our interest rate on Participation Savings Accounts is an appealing 4.1%. Any resident of Tennessee or Kentucky can open a PSA with a minimum deposit of $2,500.00. Our savings accounts are not CD’s so your money is always accessible. If you have some funds that are sitting in a standard savings account with little to no return, let it earn more through a PSA with us!
